Tim Pukys, Assistant Head Coach
I'm so excited to be coaching for the Aquadillos again this summer. I began my coaching career 17 years ago as an assistant for Hiram College and then spent seven years as the Head Swimming & Diving Coach at Southwestern University.
This will be my 4th year as a Dillos coach and I have two children, Nat and Corianne, who have both participated on the team. I am currently in my 3rd year of teaching Science to 8th graders at Benold Middle School.

Scott McLean, Assistant Head Coach
I call Conroe, TX my hometown although I was born in New Jersey. I swam for Conroe High School and then attended the College of Wooster in Ohio. I competed for Wooster as a middle-distance and sprint freestyler. I was a 4-year letter winner, team captain during my junior and senior years, school record holder in the 50 free and national qualifier for Division III in the 50 freestyle and as a member of the 400 medley relay as a senior.
After graduating from Wooster in 1987 I coached at Wooster for two years before entering the doctoral program in Exercise Science at Arizona State University. While in Arizona I coached a masters team for 5 years. I graduated from ASU in 1995 with my Ph.D. and began teaching at Iowa State University. I continued to work with swimming by volunteering with the Iowa State men's program and continued to participate as a masters swimmer.
In 2001 I returned to Texas to Southwestern University here in Georgetown where I teach biomechanics, anatomy and motor control in the Kinesiology Department. I am a volunteer assistant coach for the SU swim team and still occasionally compete in Masters meets. I live in Georgetown with my wife Jamie and our two sons, Andrew and Jack (who both swim with the Aquadillos).

David Houck
David began swimming at age 6. He started swimming in summer league in San Antonio for the Braun Station Seagulls, and then moved up to age group swimming at Alamo Area Aquatics. After moving to Georgetown, David joined Aquadillos in 1994. He swam four years at Georgetown High School, and also swam for Georgetown Area Swimming.
While attending Trinity University, he was a diver on the swimming and diving team. He graduated in 2004 with a degree in Computer Science. David first coached the Aquadillos in 2000, and has also coached for the Aquatics of Georgetown in the winter. David also was a competitive gymnast for many years. He currently does websites, computer tutoring, and basic computer repair for individuals, non-profits, and small businesses.

During high school, Sara lettered all 4 years on the Georgetown High Swim Team and qualified for TISCA in her junior and senior years. Sara is now swimming for the UTPB Falcon Swim Team, where she recently completed her 2nd season. She currently swims backstroke and distance freestyle. In 2007, Sara was selected as one of the assistant coaches of the Aquadillos. This will be her second season coaching for the team. GO DILLOS!

Danelle Houck
I am very excited to begin my first year as an Aquadillo coach. I'm very familiar with the team having been an Aquadillo swimmer for ten years and an occasional volunteer coach. In high school I was a varsity swimmer for four years at GHS and a captain my senior year.
Currently I am finishing my freshman year at Sweet Briar College in Virginia. At Sweet Briar I am an International Studies major with a possible minor in Spanish. I swim for Sweet Briar and we compete in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Also I play violin in the Sweet Briar Chamber Orchestra. I recently began work as a tour guide for Sweet Briar. I enjoy showing prospective students the campus that was voted the most beautiful in America by Princeton Review. My hobbies and interests include reading, travel, and watching Mary Kate & Ashley movies.
My coaching experience includes volunteer coaching with Aquadillos, giving private swim lessons at Sweet Briar, and helping handicapped students learn to swim. I can't wait for the Aquadillo season to begin.
